High screen time for youngsters may be a bad idea. Despite the attention about the negative impacts, parents still let their children spend such a lot of time on smartphones, electronic gadgets.
Kids who use their phones a minimum of three hours each day are more likely to become hopeless. This happens mostly due to parents’ ignorance towards raising their kids during a digital world. There are two biggest technology figures in recent history i.e. Gates and Steve Jobs, who have raised their kids during a low-tech environment where the facility of digital technology didn't make their kids addicted.
According to Gates, he didn’t allow his kids to possess mobile phones until the age of 14 and implemented a cap on the screen when his daughter developed an unhealthy attraction towards a computer game.
Steve Jobs, who remained CEO of Apple until his death in 2012, also revealed that he won’t limit his kids’ time with the screen at the house. Jobs prevented his kids from using iPads in schools although the fashionable education system requires children to review by using digital screens rather than books.
Looking at these two tech leaders’ low-tech environment for his or her kids, it's easy to imagine that individuals in Silicon Valley are raising their kids far away from the facility of those digital gadgets.
Gates stressed on use of
technology tailoring lessons for every student so as to profit them in an
academic setting. He took an eager interest in personalized education. For this
purpose, Gates celebrated Summit Sierra which may be a Seattle-based school
that took the private goals of scholars seriously. As per Gates, personalized
education might not the cure for all, but it'll be helpful for the young
generation to form the foremost of their potential.
